2024 LETOA Conference

We are very excited for the upcoming 2024 LETOA Conference. Important information regarding this year’s location, agenda, registration, and awards can all be found below.

Conference Location

Conference Location – We are excited to once again be hosting our annual conference in Appleton, WI. The majority of the conference will be held at the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley (formerly the Red Lion) hotel. Breakout sessions, including firearms and weapon retention breakout sessions, will be held just a few blocks away at the Appleton Police Department. Click Here for additional details.

Conference Agenda

Conference Day One – Day one of the conference will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Our opening day includes a session with Brooke Bukowski called Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Training for Law Enforcement Personnel. Additional sessions include Proper Focus on Report Writing by Christopher Pfannkuche and a debrief on the Highland Park Shooting by Highland Park Chief Lou Jogmen and Lake Forest Deputy Chief Michael Lange.

Conference Day Two – Day two of the conference will be Thursday April 11, 2024. The day will consist of breakout sessions including Jiu-Jitsu for Law Enforcement by Lt William Krieg, Tactical Communication by Patrick Fudally, Next Level Patrol Rifle by Todd and Crystal Fletcher, and Your Leadership Legacy by Ltc Oakland McCulloch. Later in the evening we’ll be hosting a banquet for attendees and invited guests.

Conference Day Three – Day three of the conference will be Friday, April 12, 2024. Wrapping up the conference will be a showing of the movie PTSD911 facilitated by Jordyn Archambeau. Following the movie will be a discussion on the topic.

Awards

Training Officer of the Year – Every member of LETOA has a desire to teach and share knowledge with fellow officers. Good instructors spend countless hours preparing lesson plans and improving their teaching skills. Each year, members have the opportunity to formally recognize a training officer that excelled within their agency. Click Here for additional details.

Training Coordinator of the Year – Training coordinators have a difficult job. They are required to juggle the needs of their officers, their agency, and their community.
