Conference Day Two

Day two of the conference is Thursday, April 11, 2024. The schedule is broken up into three parts – a morning training session, an afternoon training session, and an evening awards dinner and keynote speaker.

Available sessions include:

  • Jiu-Jitsu for Law Enforcement: Presented by Lt William Krieg of the Appleton Police Department. He is a second degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has taught civilian and law enforcement specific classes across the country. This session will focus specifically on how to incorporate Wisconsin State Model techniques into your department’s existing DAAT program and trouble shoot common problems students encounter while training.
  • Tactical Communication: Presented by Patrick Fudally of NWCrisisTraining.com. This presentation goes well beyond any CIT course you may have taken into a new realm. Patrick uses some of Ellis Amdur’s material, and some of his own. He will focus the last hour of the course on how to bring the information back to your department and train the officers.
  • Next Level Patrol Rifle: Presented by Todd and Crystal Fletcher of CombativeFirearms.com. This course will cover range safety, range culture, accurate shot placement, multiple threats, decision-making, shooting while moving, target identification, target transitions, reloading, and rifle to handgun transitions.
  • Your Leadership Legacy: Presented by Ltc Oakland McCulloch of LtcOakMcCulloch.com. This course will focus on selfless service, Leadership Defined, Setting the Example, Being Decisive (being in charge), Change Management, Dangers of Risk Aversion, Communication, Building Trust, Team Building, Training Your Team, Importance of Mentorship, Problem Solving, Getting Results, and the Importance of Professional Development.
